We are still looking for a house. The process has gone from fun to aggravating.
We just want to buy something already. We want the extra space. We want something nicer. We wanted a house that has been maintained.
Tomorrow we'll go look at three houses. I am thinking more potential sellers will be thinking it's time to put their house on the market. The weather is so nice. It is a great weekend to take exterior pictures. So even if nothing this weekend looks promising, we should see a new houses on the market next week. (Fingers crossed.)

P-Oed at Amazon
I just received an email from Amazon saying New Moon was just shipped! Just shipped! I can expect to get it in the mail on the 25th! What?!
This will be the last time I pre-order from Amazon. I could have gone to any other store today and purchased the dvd. Instead I have a digital copy from Amazon. It was sent as a "gift"--aka, please don't be too pissed that we messed up.
Well, I am pissed. I can only watch the downloaded version once, and then the rental expires. And I feel incredibly bad if anyone out there followed my advice and pre-ordered on Amazon.
When Eclipse comes out, I will obtain the dvd at Borders. Amazon can not be trusted with such an important order.

AI, New Moon, and Fantabulous Weather
I was surprised to see Lacey go last night. Probably because I want to get rid of Andrew so badly.
I should have known better. AI is no different than a campaign for public office. You have your constituencies-female, college student, Latin American, senior citizen, etc. And each candidate appeals to one (or more) of these groups to make up their base. Lacey's base, I would think, is the female voter. And that vote is already split many ways with Katie, Didi, and the other girls. Lacey was the weakest girl. She had to go.
Hopefully, next week I'll be spot on with my prediction.
New Moon will be released this Saturday. I have heard that people are planning viewing parties at midnight on Friday. My viewing party will be me, Craig, and our two cats.
I ordered my copy through Amazon. In the past, I have received dvds and cds the day before or day of the release date. I hope it comes on Saturday. If not, I'll be waiting till Monday. That is too long to wait.
The weather is absolutely beautiful in DC today. I walked downtown to meet Craig for lunch. On the walk back I was sweating in my light cardigan, jeans, and flip flops. Saturday it's gonna be 76! Craig and I are thinking of doing a day trip. Not sure where we're going, but Gettysburg is being considered. Guess I'll have to do some research tomorrow.

AI - Who Gets the Boot This Week
I really have no freakin idea. My predictions have been way off. If I had it my way, Andrew Garcia would go home. He is absolutely horrible. He impressed us with Straight Up, but I think that's all he's got. Has he done anything wonderful since? Nope! Has he shown any improvement? Nope!
Please, please go home Andy. I can't stand to listen to your bad karaoke singing anymore.

Wedding Bells
Are you getting married or will you be a bridesmaid soon? Welp, you are going to need a bridesmaid dress than, won't you?
Craig and I got married 8 months ago. We eloped. It was fun and easy. I did wear white though, ivory actually, and it was a "wedding dress". I bought it online at JCrew.com. I bought two dresses. I tried them both on, and return the one I didn't like. So easy!
I also got it on sale! I had received a discount code through a J.Crew email I receive. I believe I got 20% off and free shipping. Try getting that deal at the local bridal boutique.
My advice for all brides and bridesmaids out there, get on the mailing lists for J.Crew and Ann Taylor. They both carry simple and beautiful dresses. The quality is fantastic, and both retailers carry a number of different colors and sizes. Your order will arrive in two weeks, as opposed to the six months it takes to receive an order from a bridal shop. And best of all, if you play your cards right, you can get your dress at a discount!

Maybe buy a few new spring tops, or maybe it's time for a new pair of pumps? This pair would look great in spring and summer! Best of all, you can wear them with anything! Black, brown, blue, or white, these shoes will match everything in your wardrobe!

Ugh
Remember a few weeks ago when I listed the significant events I was looking forward to? I did it because I was so damn bored and needed to remind myself of the things I have to look forward to. Ugh. Well, I am doing that again. I am trying to find good things to look forward to, and the list is really short.
Here you go:
1) Release of New Moon on March 20th
2) Red Sox game April 3rd with friends from NH
3) Jury duty April 6th
I know, poor house wife with nothing to do. I shouldn't be complaining. While I am grateful I have a wonderful husband who said, quit the job you absolutely hate and is going nowhere. Thank god, because that job was torture. I am finding not working has highlighted the fact that I have absolutely nothing going for me here. It is like the universe is yelling out to me, this is not where you belong!
Things can only get better, right?

We LOVE Visitors
Two good friends will be in town this week.
One of our visitors is a guy who shared Nationals' season tickets with us last year. He left in late summer to work on a campaign. He is back in town though! For right now anyway. We'll find out what his plans are tonight when we have dinner with him at Hard Times.
Tomorrow night we are having dinner with one of Craig's former co-workers. She now lives in Arizona, but is in town for a conference. She is super sweet, and we just love chatting with her. We'll be meeting her at one of our favorite restaurants, Central.
If you are coming to DC and need a great place to eat, you must go to Central. My favorite dish is the sautéed scallops with tagliatelle provencale . Craig loves the filet mignon with potato and mushroom hash. He says the hash is phenomenal. I'll have to try it tomorrow night. And the chocolate lava cake a la mode is the best lava cake we've ever had.
All this talk about food is making me hungry. Time for lunch!
