While I will miss Casey's dazzling smile, there was no heartache last night as I watched him sing his final song. I knew he was the next to go. I could have *should have* posted last week that he will be the next to go. I think it would have been my first correct prediction!
What's going to happen next week? I have no idea. I think it would be easy to say that Crystal wins the talent competition. We all know this is more than a talent competition though. And Lee can bring in the female vote. He has a real chance of winning.
With Casey gone the female vote has to go somewhere. All those boy crazy girls in college (and some who have been out of college for years), are more likely to vote for Lee than Crystal. He might not be as attractive as Casey, but have him sing some mushy gushy song and the ladies will be like putty in his hands.
I think Crystal has to do something out of her comfort zone to win this thing. And if I were counseling Crystal, I would tell her go for a girlie billboard top 100 song. I personally like Taylor Swift's "Today was a Fairytale". It's kinda perfect, right?

Nachos
Twilight-mania has hit once again! The track list for Eclipse has been released. Tickets go on sale this FRIDAY! EKKKK!!!!!!
Right now I am watching the cast of Twilight on Oprah. I am also enjoying a glass of wine. It is the closest thing to a date with Robert and Taylor I'm gonna get!
I am only a few minutes into the show and already giddy with delight. Why? Rob just said "nachos" and "water". He can't pronounce these, and other words, like we Americans do. It is sooo cute though!
I will try to post a few clips from the show later tonight!

AI - ???
I have no idea who's going tomorrow. Maybe Mike? He wasn't all that great, and he's almost been kicked off before. Perhaps, Casey is done. He's had a few tough weeks. I honestly don't know how he made it through last week.
All in all, I thought night was just so-so. No one really blew me away. I did however really enjoy Crystal's and Lee's duet. "Falling Slowly" is a favorite song in my house. It is too bad Lee didn't sing it on his own. I think it would have been a much better pick for him than "Kiss From a Rose".

A Pleasant Surprise
This weekend we were in Western New York. The weather was miserable, cold and rainy. It actually snowed Saturday night and Sunday morning. So we spend most of the weekend inside.

And staying inside at a house, other than your own, can be rather boring. It's not as though you can reread a magazine, organize a closet, or catch up with shows on the dvr. Our entertainment pretty much consisted of my blackberry (for Facebook and Word Mole) and Craig's laptop.
So late Saturday afternoon I took a trip to the drug store to buy nail polish. My toes were in desperate need of new color, and I figured it would keep me entertain me for a little while. I purchased Revlon Plum Night. And I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and color.
I can never keep paint on my finger nails. They usually chip within a day. So far, so good though!

Things Are Looking Up (fingers crossed!)
Things are looking up for us. Remember it was just last week I was detailing all our bad luck? Well, I am happy to report that I have good news this week!
We have a ratified contract! It was really quite amazing; and I know how silly this sounds, but I think this time we just got lucky. We had no reason to believe this offer would work out. The house was bigger and more expensive than those we've looked at. So there was no way we could offer the asking price. We figured, what the hey, let's give it a whirl. What's the worst that could happen? They reject our offer? Been there. Done that.
The home inspection is today, and we are holding our breath that everything looks okay. Please keep your fingers crossed!
