The house should be ready to move into on Monday. This means I start the clock on the Five Year Plan. The Five Year Plan is simply this, in five years I will be living in New England. Notice I didn't stipulate New Hampshire. I would be happy living in Massachusetts or Maine, not Vermont though. Nope, I don't want to live there. New Hampshire really would be best though-no income or sales tax!
Now, don't get me wrong, I am very excited about the new house. There will be more space and an outdoor area to hangout in. No more dealing with the freakin jerk of a landlord! I am very happy and very grateful to be moving into the house.
In five years though, I want to be living in New England. I want the lakes and ocean in the summer, pumpkin beer and foliage in the fall, and flippin plowed streets in the winter. I don't think these are unreasonable requests. Unfortunately, you ain't gonna find them in DC!
